Rain is good when it has not been around for a while. California has been hit hard with a drought in the past few years and in particular, Central to Southern California. Trees have died and fallen all over the State. So this bout of rain in the last couple of weeks has been greeted well here. Albeit the fire areas are suffering. That is always a sad reminder that fire season brings a lot of disaster at times like this.
Lakes and creeks are filling and the aqueduct on this property has been doing its job. Right now, it is not as ugly to look at as I have been saying it is all summer. Sounds wonderful to hear the water coming down the hills.
