The most moving and visceral part of attending my reunion was trying to find my locker at our visit to the campus. *I used to have locker dreams (not being able to find the darn thing)*! It was surreal after 45 years. Looked like the original linoleum flooring was still there along with the bathrooms in the same location *remembered that at least*. A couple of added building units and the campus hasn’t changed much. Even the Administration offices were the same.
I found my home room. The room assistant and teacher were there for the next day’s grand opening of the school year. I sat in the area where I think I remember my seat was while Marilyn snapped me. Somehow, it’s not that comfy anymore sitting in these seats *old lady back*.
Marilyn however, found her locker and actually tried to open one:
Marilyn also found her seat in home room, and there’s a tv now in her old class. Must be nice.
Good memories. My advice to the newbies going in as Freshmen is simple:
KATY DID:
Know All That You
Dream Is Doable.
…and keep that in your head until you are a Senior and graduate…
then save us from this lousy presidency we have with T at the helm. Puleezzz!
Til next time…
I went to a school reunion a few years ago but we didn’t get to go into the classrooms. Everything seemed a lot smaller than I remembered though, even the teachers!

Yes, so small and yet still imposing.

What IS it with those locker dreams. I’m always dreaming I can’t remember my combination! I just had my 40th HS reunion. Doesn’t seem possible!
