The Annual Silverado Chili Cook-Off & Hoedown seems to have overtaken my camera so you are getting a taste of the day here.   I think the whole town showed and indeed I must say,  it did.  Instead of posting tiles, kitchen makeovers, etc, it is said with a breath of fresh air, I am glad to post a few from this fun day.

The Circle S Ranch kicked off boot dust to work more dust on them for the day’s givings.  Between all the volunteers and the businesses on the street pitching in, I think it went great.

For most of the kids, the only place in the world to be was with their family enjoying the roundups, kid goodies, and watching and playing with animals here.
boots-1 (1 of 1)
There was no slight chance of heels this day.  Only boots *smiling*

This gal looked perfectly comfy in her saddle.

…and this gal really looked comfy roping and really getting into it.

The goat guy checking me out.
band-2 (1 of 1)
One of the bands.  This trio hit the spot at the end of the day.

So, there are my pics for the week. In fact here is an extra pic of the famous Rusty Richards who sang with Sons Of The Pioneers.  *no regrets as they say*.
